CONSTANCE LAPALOMBARA

Constance LaPalombara is a landscape and still life painter. Her interest is centered on the physical world whether that is the urban landscape of her home town, New Haven, CT, the landscape of Maine where she spends summers, or objects on a table. She works mostly in oils, but also enjoys the challenge presented by watercolor. Whatever the subject, Constance LaPalombara is a landscape and still life painter.

She works mostly in oils, but also enjoys the challenge presented by watercolor. Whatever the subject or the medium, her focus is on the relationship between color and light. Last fall she spent three weeks painting in Italy where she had an Artist Residency at Borgo Finochietto in Tuscany. Her next show is scheduled for spring 2015 in New Haven, CT. LaPalombara has her MFA from Tyler School of Art, Temple University, Philadelphia.
